Come back to this page, press the red button, then choose the browser tab where your meeting is running.
In Chrome’s picker, select the tab and turn on Also share tab audio. Without it you get video only. Then click Share.
Press Stop when the meeting ends, preview the recording and download the WebM file to your computer.
Pick your app for a 30-second guide to opening it in the browser.
Everything is captured and stored inside your browser. There is no server, no account and no upload. Close the tab and it is gone, unless you downloaded it.
Join from your browser, then record the Zoom tab here. The capture happens on your computer, so Zoom’s host recording permission is not involved. Check that you have consent from participants where it is required.
No. Browsers can only capture tabs and windows reliably with audio, so open the meeting in the web client instead of the desktop app.
Zoom does not know about the capture, because it happens in your browser. That is not a reason to skip consent, which many places require by law.
The recording captures the audio playing in the tab, which is what the other participants say. Your own microphone is not mixed in yet, so your voice may be missing from the file.
Often yes. Recording laws differ by country and state, and many workplaces have their own rules. Tell participants and get consent where it is required.
Something did not record, a meeting app does not work, or you want a feature added? Tell us what you were recording and which browser you use, and we will get back to you.
